Preschool+Plus goes to Egypt!🐪
Today we explored the climate, animals, and customs of Egypt. We discovered that pyramids are buildings that were made many years ago using ramps, pullies, rope, and manpower. We learned that it took much patience (and fine motor control) to build a solid structure made from blocks as we created our own with sugar cubes. Madeliene used 64 cubes in her structure!
Exploring three dimensional shapes: pyramids! Preschool+Plus learned about the attributes of a pyramid today! A pyramid has a square base with 4 triangular sides that meet at a point  at the top! We practiced building our own triangular structures.
Crystal Cave Creations! Amazing crystal formations we created in our “cavelike” environment last week! So delicate and detailed!
Pumpkin Science: “What does the inside of a pumkin look/feel like?” Using our 5 senses to explore a pumpkin, preschoolers brainstormed words to describe a pumpkin - first on the outside, then the inside! Slippery, slimey, gooey, stringy, orange... were awesome adjectives for our pumpkin! 🎃
Preschoolers enjoyed making their own Prayer Pumpkins to take home. Look on the back for your own Pumpkin Prayer to share with your family. 🎃
    October Prayer Buddy Visit
Our get-together today included making a interlocking puzzle piece zipper pull to help us remember our special “connections” with our Prayer Buddies. Art work on the puzzle pieces included connected pictures, Buddies name’s and initials, and matching designs! Afterwards, we shared special Halloween storytime with our Buddies! Can’t wait for our November visit!
