Christmas guests in England find surprises inside their crackers, such as King’ crowns and little toys! We loved sharing the traditional way to open them with the children!

This group was filling our room with the Christmas classic, Jingle Bells!

00:08 Hopping Corn Experiment Results! 🌽

When the baking soda and vinegar combine, they create bubbles (a gas)!! The bubbles circle around the corn kernels and lift the kernels up to the water surface! The bubbles pop and the kernels sink back down!

00:08 Super Scientist with Mrs. Androus & Niko!

Mrs. Androus used clear soda to show preschoolers the bubbles it contains! We discovered that bubbles cling to both smooth (straws) and fuzzy (pipe cleaners) surfaces, and observed the reaction when a Mentos candy was added! Preschoolers loved seeing the exploding reaction when these candies were added to a bottle of Diet Coke! Fizzy science rocks! Thank you so much Mrs, Androus!

Mrs, Hansel returned for a repeat engagement this afternoon! Preschoolers learned how to use our voice, body, and our imagination to tell a story! They used these 3 actor’s tools to collaboratively tell a story and solve a problem! Super listening skills here! Thank you Mrs. Hansel for sharing this fun class with us today! We enjoyed listening to “Harry and the Hot Lava”, by Chris Robertson! Preschoolers brainstormed all the facts they knew about lava, and created their own lava lamps using easy only 4 common ingredients! Super fun! The children kept active with a fun game of The Floor is Lava!
