Our endless day of fun included outdoor gym time with Ms. Nash’s class and Grinch-y games and activities based on this Dr. Seuss classic! Preschoolers observed reactions as they mixed the colors yellow and blue into their “Grinch Dust”!
Grinch Science: “Can you melt the Grinch’s heart”? Using hands on experiences, preschoolers experimented  by adding salt to our frozen Grinch’s heart! ❤️❤️
Our patience and perseverance paid off! We were able to melt the Grinch’s heart! Through trial and error, preschoolers developed an understanding of how the salt affected the ice! Acting as a catalyst, it actually sped up the melting process!❄️
Grinch Color-by-Number! Preschoolers enjoyed this fine motor activity that had them using symbols in a key to identify colors they will use! They did a tremendous job of coloring in the lines and using a key!
Birthday Fun! Thank you, Mrs. Letendre for helping us celebrate Alysse’s birthday! We loved listening to “Santa Mouse”, a holiday story Alysse’s Dad read when he was little!
Happy 5th Birthday, Alysse!🎊🎉
We had so much fun sharing in your birthday celebration today!
Christmas Get-together with our Prayer Buddies ❤️❤️❤️
We loved decorating Christmas cookies with you all today!!
Letters to Santa🎅 Our Prayer Buddies helped us write our letters to Santa today! So special sharing this tradition with our Buddies!
Preschool delivered their letters to Santa in a special envelope marked “North Pole”🎅  The children were excited to hand their parcel over to Mrs. Lentino to take extra care to mail!
Our Christmas baking sensory table has preschoolers using kitchen baking utensils to mix and “mold” Christmas cookies of gingerbread flour! And also the reason your children may be coming home looking a little dusty with flour!
Today we read a new version of The Gingerbread Man, “The Gingerbread Boy”! The setting of the story was New York City, which introduced our preschoolers to some new characters including construction workers, a police man, and a rat! But the big surprise was at the end of the story, where we received a letter from the Gingerbread Man telling us he was lost in our school! Our job was to find him!!!
Our Gingerbread Man Hunt led us throughout our school, as the children answered rhyming  riddles in order to find their next clue! They did an amazing job of working together to find clues, answer riddles, and head toward the destination of the next clue! Amazing teamwork and collaboration, preschoolers!
