Christmas guests in England cross arms so that each holds an end to a popper. On the count of three, they pull the ends to find surprises inside, such as our King’s crowns! 👑
We wish you a Happy Christmas from England! Enjoying our special travels around the world!
Jingle Bell and Stop!🔔
Letter J introduced us to lots of engaging activities this week! Jingle Bells were a fun addition to help us develop skills such as listening, following directions, and self regulation!
Preschoolers used Magnifying-Tiles to build 3-D shapes this week. They enjoyed exploring the inside of their structure with a video!Uploaded Nov 20, 2021
We had further practice with our sequencing story boards this week! Preschoolers ordered events of their story, and told their story! We love this for building our young readers ability to “picture read” a story, add details, and develop their own confidence and language skills! We so enjoyed listening to each of their stories, and look forward to hearing from more of our emergent readers next week!Uploaded Nov 20, 2021
When the baking soda and vinegar combine, they create the bubbles (a gas)! The bubbles circle around the corn kernels and lift the kernels up to the water surface! As the bubbles pop, they sink down again!Uploaded Nov 13, 2021

Music Monday with Mr. Showstead🎶
Our lesson on rhythm continues today as we learned about several new instruments, copied various musical rhythms, and played Dance and Freeze!
Rhythm is an important skill in language development!
Hearing and using rhythm actually helps young children develop early literacy skills! Today our preschoolers enjoyed experimenting with Boomwhackers, and tapping out rhythms!
