“What is a turkey?” We have been singing songs, reading books, and playing games based on our feathered friend this month, and thought it was about time to introduce the children to a real wild turkey! We learned that the Dad is called a Tom, and only the daddies make the gobble, gobble sound! Preschoolers discovered the names of parts of a turkey, and then played Turkey Trot (Hokey Pokey with a turkey twist!) 🦃
