We learned about clouds this morning.  Big fluffy clouds are called cumulus clouds and are beautiful weather clouds.  Cirus clouds are high wispy clouds which aren’t sign of fair weather.  The clouds we see today are stratus clouds.  They bring rain or snow.
the boys and girls used clouds/shaving cream and made their own clouds and practiced cloud writing their names.
Morning Media with Mrs Hoglund.  She talked to the boys and girls about the upcoming solar eclipse.  She also read us a few poems since this is poetry month.  The boys and girls checked out books!
The boys and girls also had their religion lesson God Made Butterflies.  They each made a life cycle of a butterfly strip.  They did a great job putting the pieces in order.
On this snowy April Spring day we had our Scholastic Magazine lesson about butterflies.   The boys and girls learned about the life cycle of a butterfly.   They also learned what the word metamorphosis means!
This afternoon the boys and girls did a 16 word April Write the  Room.  Many of them found all 16 words and wrote them on their sheet.  We are so proud of this handwriting.
Mrs Painter came into our classroom this morning to read 2 of Amelia’s favorite books.  Thank you Mrs Painter!
The boys and girls made a cute cloud and rainbow craft!  We will hang these in our hallway for a few weeks!
