This afternoon we read The Snowy Nap.  The boys and girls made their own hedgehogs!

We did a quick directed drawing of a snowflake.  They did a great job making snowflakes with 6 sides and all different designs.

We are growing our own snowflake crystals.   The boys and girls will watch and see tomorrow if we were able to grow snowflakes!

The boys and girls helped make a blizzard in a jar.  We added baby oil. Paint and water.  Once that had settled we added an alka seltzer tablet and watched the blizzard!

place the last week in January.  She also read us a cute winter story.

This afternoon the boys and girls did a 1-10 Count the Room.  They have been working hard on following directions as well as writing their numbers.

Great job!  We will hang these in our hallway during the month of January!   

The boys and girls did a great job cutting and patterning mittens this morning!

Lena was our Special Person today.
