Scruffy had a fun with Emma and the Packer family.  He helped clean the house, went to gymnastics with Emma and even had a fun Spa Day!

We  learned about hibernation this morning.  We had our Scholastic lesson about hedgehog hibernation.  We also talked about other animals that hibernate such as bats, frogs and bears.  After we read The Bear Snores On, the boys and girls made their own hibernation craft.

They did a great job helping each other and writing the letters.

Write the room.  The boys and girls looked around the  room for all 26 uppercase letter cards.  When they found the letter they wrote it on their paper and also wrote the lower case letter.

Dominic was our Special Person today.

Great job following directions and cutting and piecing together the parts.

The boys and girls made their own “Snow Guys” this morning.  We will hang these in our hallway.

Camden was our celebrated his half birthday…..July 24th (a few days early).

This afternoon we learned where Antarctica is located..  Antarctica means the opposite of the Arctic.  It is very cold in the Arctic.  There are not any trees or bushes, but there is a lot of ice!  The boys and girls made beautiful pictures using colored ice!
