We talked about our new Pope Leo today. We learned is the first Pope from the United States and he is from Chicago!
We have our 5 caterpillars. The boys and girls voted on their names. Now we will wait and watch them grow and hopefully we can watch them transform into butterflies!
We read The Grouchy Ladybug this afternoon and learned some fun facts about ladybugs. The boys and girls made their own ladybugs.
We have been learning about how plants grow. The boys and girls planted a cup with grass seed. They will water it and make sure the plants get sun and we will watch them grow.

The boys and girls painted with brown paint and dirt! It was fun for them to spread the paint.
After we read The Carrot, the boys and girls cut out 3 carrots and added the carrot tops.
We talked about seeds and planting this morning. We had our Scholastic lesson.
Many the of the boys and girls were able to complete their whole sheet!
The boys and girls did another write the room ending sounds. Practice makes perfect!
