I am excited to be a part of the St. Joseph Catholic School community as the new full day preschool teacher working with four year olds. I look forward to being a part of such a positive and caring academic community where body, mind and spirit are nurtured and developed.
 
Although I earned my education degree in Ohio, I have been a preschool teacher in Libertyville for the last 15 years. I love teaching preschool children and seeing the world through their eyes. I believe a warm and loving environment both encourages children to learn as well as helps them gain self-confidence. I am a strong believer in learning through play as well as hands on learning to help foster a child’s creativity and development. I look forward to a positive, loving, and wonderful year with your child!

Using gummy bears the boys and girls sorted and graphed their bag of gummies.  They are doing an awesome job graphing!
Teddy Bear Day!  We had a fun day with our Teddy Bears.  The boys and girls sorted their bears and then counted.  It took some moving around, but they did a great job!
The boys and girls did their letter Tt letter book page. T is for turtle.  The boys and girls did a nice job putting it all together!
The boys and girls did an Easter Write the Room.  They had to look around the room for 10 cards.  They wrote the words on their sheet.  They did a great job!  We are very proud of their handwriting.
We began our egg experiment today.  We are going to soak an egg vinegar .  We are going to watch it and observe if they egg undergoes any changes over the next few days.
This afternoon we learned about England.  England is very close to Ireland.  While people in England speak English, many of their words have different meanings than our words here in America.  We played a game and the boys and girls had to guess what certain words meant.
There are Double decker buses in the city of London in England.  The boys and girls each made their own double decker bus.
Letter Tt Day.  We ,are the letter T with our fingers, arms, bodies and even with our friends.  Tt is for Taylor, turtle, timer, Tinkerbelle, today, tomorrow, two and tattoo.
