Math - pgs 179 & 180 and one extra worksheets assigned to your group -  (Today we started division using mental math. Example: 240 divided by 8 = 30.  Everyone seemed to understand the lesson as I received "thumbs up" all the way around. We also started our differentiated groups in class. I will talk about these at Parent/Teacher Conferences. Please keep practicing multiplication flashcards at home as we will be doing a lot of multiplication in the next few weeks.)

 

Science - Bubis Only - Isaac Newton book pages 1 - 24 and first page of packet if not done in class and no D.O.S. this week because it is a 3 day week. (Today we started reading our books on Isaac Newton before we begin the unit on Force in our books. Ask your child what they learned about him so far in todays reading.)

 

Social Studies - Chapter 1 and 2 in Colonial America book if not finished in class and no D.O.G. this week because it is a 3 day week  (Today we started reading a book called Colonial America in small groups where you pick your path on characters as you read and their journey through Colonial times. Ask your child where there path took them today and what they learned along the way.)

 

 

 

 

- I offer office hours Monday - Thursday if your child needs me to reteach something in Math, Science or Social Studies. Please email me for assistance and we will meet via google meet link. 

 

- I offer afterschool Math group tutoring on Thursday's of every week until 3:15pm. Some weeks we review and some weeks we go ahead and learn the next lessons. We will also work on strengthening our math facts in multiplication. It is $30 per week if you'd like to join. You can come and go from week to week, but it is very beneficial. ~ We will have our first field trip on Thursday, November 9th to The Grove in Glenview. We will see LongHouses from the Native Americans and also talk about Pioneers....all lessons we will have finished learning by then. Permission forms were sent home. Can't wait for this extra enrichment for the students.
