Hello Parent's. I will be out of town on Thursday and Friday, so I will be posting all my posts today and my Week at a Glance for next week as well. Please refer back to this post or my webpage for nightly homework update. Thank you!

Parent/Teacher conferences are open and I would like to discuss Math goals, iReady Math scores, and differentiation with each parent, so please sign up for a time slot. Thank you.

Math - pgs 173 & 174 and 2 extra worksheets assigned to your group -  (Today we started division with remainders. Division will be a work in progress as it continues to get harder. Everyone seemed to understand the lesson as I received "thumbs up" all the way around. We also started our differentiated groups in class. I will talk about these at Parent/Teacher Conferences. Please keep practicing multiplication flashcards at home as we will be doing a lot of multiplication in the next few weeks.)

Science - None and D.O.S. has been passed out and due on Friday (Today we took our Science Chapter 1 test using our notes from my lecture yesterday. I was very pleased in the results.)

We focused on the question as how the three colonial regions were alike and different?  What are the three regions?... New England Colonies, Middle Colonies, and Southern Colonies   In the New England Colonies, what crops were planted on their plantations?...Tobacco and rice were their cash crops that brought in money   Did New York have a good economy?...They had an amazing economy that offered the colonists good jobs in many industries.)
