Tomorrow is our Crayfish dissection and all students must have safety goggles to participate. Can't wait!

iReady results are coming home today via backpack to all parents. Your child has been advised that these envelopes are for the parents to open and NOT them. Please reach out to me with any questions you may have. I'd be more than happy to discuss over Google Meet in the evenings if you'd like.

Tomorrow is student choice dress down...please follow hand book rules for dress guidelines

Thank you to the parents that showed their love and support by volunteering their time at our field trip today. Thank you Mrs. Hein, Mrs. Allen, Mrs. Altstadt, and Mrs. Catanese. I truly appreciate your presence today.

Math - None (Did not have math today due to morning 8th grade Science Egg Drop challenge and then off to our Field Trip to the Kenosha Public Museum)

Science - None - The weekly D.O.S. (Daily Oral Science) has been passed out and is due by tomorrow. (We learned Science today on our Field Trip by talking about and dissecting Owl Pellets. It was very interesting program and lesson. Ask your child what they loved the most.)

Social Studies: None - The weekly D.O.G. (Daily Oral Geography) was passed out and is due by tomorrow.  (Today we learned about the Anishnaabe (means all the people of the earth) tribe that is indigenous to the Midwest region of the United States. These tribes still exist as well. Water was so important to them that is was considered a spiritual thing for them. It was very cool to learn about.  Ask your child to tell you at least three facts about these Native American tribes. It was very interesting for sure!)

Optional weekly EXTRA CREDIT was passed out on Monday and due by tomorrow....they get to use these points in one of my subjects they choose. Have fun and try them together at home.

Reminders:

~ I host Office Hours from 5pm to 6pm if needed from Monday - Thursday....just have your child email me and we can meet to discuss any questions they may have

Upcoming Events:

~ Dissection of Crayfish will be tomorrow, Friday, May 26th. Googles must be worn to participate. Please make sure your child has goggles for the Lab. This is strictly for fun and is totally optional. If they choose to not participate, they can come to the Science lab with us and read a book. I'm very excited about this opportunity for the students.
