Reminder: Picture Day Friday 8/27
Math: Begin Unit 1
- Take pretest of skills. Do lessons 1-4
- Place Value Structure, Addition and Subtraction strategies, Multiplication Comparison
- IXL will also be done daily in class.
- Homework will be done usually on either paper pencil or assigned on IXL
Language Arts: Unit 1 Lesson 1
- Story: Reaching For The Moon
- Grammar Conventions: Subjects and Predicates
- Comprehension: Author's Purpose/Text Evidence
- Spelling: Suffixes- Unit 1 week 1 in Spelling City to practice
- Begin Personal Narratives
Religion:
- Begin Unit 1: God, Our Creator and Father

Social Studies Begin Chapter 1: Geography of the United States
- Introduce Big Question and Vocab words for chapter
- Introduce and begin Lesson 1
Lesson 1 objectives:
- Differentiate between the 5 regions of the US, landforms, and bodies of water
- Explain how natural features sometimes provide the basis for state and national boundaries
- Online and book activities to learn and study these objectives
