We continued learning about owls this morning.  We watched a video about owl pellets.  Owls do not have teeth.  When they find their prey they swallow it whole.  The spit up the bone and hair that  they do not digest.  This is called an owl pellet.  The boys and girls worked in pairs and dissected their own owl pellets (these were synthetic owl pellets/man made).  They had fun opening them up and finding the little bones inside.
