This afternoon we started learned about the ocean.  The ocean cover almost 3/4 of the world.  Oceans have salt water and are the homes to many beautiful and some scary sea creatures.  There are different layers or zones of the ocean.  Our science experiment this afternoon was trying to make 5 layers of the ocean.  We did this using water, rubbing alcohol, vegetables oil, corn syrup and dish soap we could see the different layers.
