We have a beach in our sensory table to help us get excited for summer!  At the green table, the children sequenced how to make a birthday cake.  At the red table, we had the hexagon and triangle challenges.  This center helps build problem solving skills, shows how different shapes come together to make other shapes and requires positional words when placing the pattern blocks.  At the yellow table, we had Magnify Rhyming words.  The children had to use magnifying glasses to find tiny pictures around the room and match it to the rhyming word on their recording sheet.
