In Afternoon Enrichment, we made the Lincoln Memorial using pasta and Play-doh.  This engineering activity was challenging and we experienced a lot of trial and error.  We were able to learn from each attempt to finally succeed in creating a strong chair for Abe to sit in.  Each child embraced the creative process, collaborated with friends, used critical thinking, problem solved in this hands-on learning experience.
