We love to play in the snow and when we don't have the real thing we can make our own snow. Today for our science experiment, we made a snow storm in a jar!  With a mixture of baby oil and white paint and the magic of alka-seltzer bubbles, the experiment was a success!  We saw how the watered down paint and oil did not mix.  But when the sodium bicarbonate bubbles were released from the alka-seltzer tablets, the paint and oil moved and the snow storm began.
