Math centers were counting challenges.  The children had to bead the correct amount of pony beads on pipe cleaners using their number identification, one-to-one correspondence, counting and fine motor skills.  The children also worked with apple ten frames puzzles 1 through 10 - matching numbers to their correct 10 frame representation.  An additional challenge was to record the puzzle information on a recording sheet.
