We enjoyed our lesson on Germany today.  We read about the country and it’s beautiful monuments.  We learned to count zero eleven (null to elf).  We also learned the names for the days of the week.  We sang our days of the week song with the German names.  So fun!  We also made a mini version of a Schultüte, a special treat for children starting school for the first time.  These enourmous cones are elaborately decorated and filled with school supplies and treats. We watched a video showing how a  Schultute was made to look like a minion! Ours were decorated with glitter crayons and religious stickers. We filled ours with delicious German pretzels and sweet Skittles.  Yum!
