Homework:
1. Read 20 (or more) minutes
2. No Math homework
3. Practice Spelling words - test = next Tuesday
Words with r-controlled vowels (-ear, or, ar)

Tip: Try grouping them into or, ear, ar to practice and focus on the other letters that they can sound out. *Stretching the words out should help your child have a better lasting memory of the words than trying to memorize the letters.*
Upcoming Tests:
- Spelling Test = Tuesday
- Reading Progress Assessment = Tuesday (no studying needed)
Additional Reminders:
- If your child wears boots to school, please send him/her with an extra pair of shoes to wear inside.
- Please remind your child to use the restroom before coming to school in the morning. It will help with getting our day started on time. Thanks!
- School starts at 7:30, so please try to have your child walking in the building by 7:20 (or so). This will also help us get settled and started on time.
