9/7/21 Homework + Reminders
Welcome back!
*If you traveled over the weekend, please remember to follow the steps outlined in the email that Mrs. Phoenix sent about Covid testing. Thank you!*
*Thank you also for your patience with dismissal. We were able to get all of the students home safely in a timely manner once we started the dismissal process.*
Tuesday's Homework:
1. Read 20 minutes
2. Math 2-3 homework pages
*For items 9 and 10, please have your child try his/her best. S/he can prove the answer with pictures or words.
*For writing numbers in word form, your child has an orange sheet in the front of his/her planner with how to spell numbers.
Upcoming Tests
- Spelling test = next Tuesday - list and optional backpack pages to go home tomorrow (no test this week)
- Math Unit 2 test = next week (most likely Wednesday) - more information to come soon
Additional Reminders
- Friday, September 10th = Red, White, and Blue Dress Down Day to remember those we lost and honor the heroes of 9/11/01 - Please send in a $1 donation - the proceeds will benefit The Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers foundation which provides funds to pay mortgages and have houses built for families of first responders and soldiers who were either killed or severely injured. This now will include families from the 13 soldiers recently killed in Kabul Afghanistan. More information can be found on their website https://t2t.org
