Check out the following Summer Reading Opportunities:

Cook Memorial Library:
Check out the library's selection of e-books to borrow for your Kindle or Kindle app.

Scholastic Pop Up Shops:
You can order books from Scholastic and have them shipped directly to your home. Shipping is free for orders over $25. You can search by books on sale, age level, boxed sets, etc.

This Old Bookstore (Grayslake):
I wanted to re-share information about a used book store that one our 2nd grade families shared with me (apparently the woman who works there is quite a book lover and is a pleasure to talk to):
This Old Book is located in Grayslake. If you check out their website, you can find children’s learn to read books, children’s chapter books, and children's board books. (There are adult books too.)
Here is information about "Grab Bags" from their website (https://this-old-book.myshopify.com/):
Choose a category or genre (or multiple) and we’ll put together together a Grab Bag of randomly selected gently used books for you or a loved one for $25. Leave a note at checkout with your selection (classics, mysteries, thrillers, cheesy romance novels, staff's favorite books, etc.). Also specify the reader’s age range if that is relevant. We’ll work with you over the phone or by email to help narrow down selections.

They have shipping ($6 per bag), pickup, and contactless delivery ($2 in the Grayslake area).

*If you know of any other reading opportunities, please email me, and I will be happy to share the information with other families.*
