Chess is becoming more popular due to the fact that it is a game of skill and strategy, which promotes critical thinking. It also teaches about good sportsmanship as well as how to win and learn (lose) gracefully. The United States Chess Federation says, “We know chess makes kids smarter!”

Come and learn from experienced chess instructor, Mark Kegan, who has students that are ranked at both the State and National level, including numerous state champions.

The club meets on Wednesdays from 2:15-3:15pm, and the cost for the first session is approximately $150.
