National Junior Honor Society:
We are excited to announce that we are bringing a chapter of the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) to St. Joseph Catholic School. NJHS honors middle school students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizen
ship. The goal of NJHS mirrors our goals in so many areas: to promote enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire for service, to further promote leadership, to encourage responsible citizenship, and to develop students’ character. Candidates and members must be in the top 25% percent of their class, and they will be evaluated on the basis of service, leadership, character and citizenship. More information regarding NJHS will be shared at curriculum night.
