National Junior Honor Society

St Joseph has a chapter of the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) which honors middle school students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizenship. The goal of NJHS mirrors our goals in so many areas: to promote enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire for service, to further promote leadership, to encourage responsible citizenship, and to develop students’ character. 

Candidates and members must be in the top 25% percent of their class, and they will be evaluated on the basis of service, leadership, character and citizenship.
