Reading: 

• Show understanding of vocabulary words from Ch. 12-18 of Tuck Everlasting with correct answers on the vocabulary quiz (scheduled for Tuesday, May 30)
• Learn new vocabulary words for Ch. 19-25 of the novel
• Read and discuss Ch. 19-Epilogue of Tuck Everlasting
• Show understanding of Ch. 17-19 of Tuck Everlasting with correct answers to the comprehension questions
• Show understanding of Ch. 20-22 with correct answers to the comprehension questions

Language Arts: 

• Continue practicing Daily Oral Language (DOL) skills  
• Show understanding of indefinite and reflexive pronouns
• Read “Disaster in the Sky” in Storyworks, and show understanding of the story with correct answers to the comprehension questions
• Learn the Week 32 spelling words (final syllable -ant, -ent, -ance, -ence)

Religion: 

• Show understanding of Unit 4 Session 16 with correct answers on the quiz (scheduled for Thursday, June 1)
• Retell the story of Jesus’s appearance on the road to Emmaus
• Explain our belief in the real presence of Jesus in the Eucharist
• Outline the Order of Mass
• Describe the proper preparation to receive the Eucharist worthily
• Define memorial, Penitential Act, real presence, and transubstantiation
