Reading: 

• Take the iReady reading spring diagnostic test (scheduled for Wednesday, May 10, for 5S and Thursday, May 11, for 5B)
• Show understanding of the novel so far with correct answers to the comprehension questions from the Prologue-Ch. 4 of Tuck Everlasting
• Show understanding vocabulary words from Ch. 1-5 of Tuck Everlasting with correct answers on the quiz (scheduled for Thursday, May 11)
• Learn vocabulary words from Ch. 6-11 of the novel

Language Arts: 

• Continue practicing Daily Oral Language (DOL) skills  
• Finish typing draft of persuasive / opinion paper
• Peer edit persuasive / opinion paper
• Learn how to write a good, appropriate title for a formal piece of writing
• Learn the Week 29 spelling words (Latin roots)

Religion: 

• Identify and develop good qualities of a friend
• Recognize marriage as a sacred relationship
• Understand that marital love is a unique expression of love
• Appreciate the choices that build strong relationships
• Show understanding of Unit 4 with correct answers on the Unit 4 review
