Reading: 

• Show understanding of how to make inferences related to scenarios from Ch. 33-40 of A Night Divided
• Show understanding of figurative language by correctly identifying different types in A Night Divided
• Show understanding of the remaining chapters of A Night Divided with good class discussion about the events that take place

Language Arts: 

• Continue practicing Daily Oral Language (DOL) skills  
• Continue working on opinion / argumentative draft
• Show comprehension of Week 27 spelling words

Religion: 

• Practice reflective ways of developing a sense of self-awareness
• Show understanding of the content of Lessons 3 and 4 with correct answers on the Unit 2 review
• See that all human life is sacred
• Understand the need to protect and preserve human life
• Evaluate ways for promoting a culture of life
• Appreciate God’s plan for vocations
• Learn about the vocation of parenthood
