Pop bead mania in PreK4 this morning!  I love how the children can take something simple and make it into something amazing!
In religion today, our Seeds lesson was about God cares for all creation.  We pretended to be little seeds that grow very, very tall!

Centers were so cool this week!  We made our Thanksgiving placemats and reflected on what we are thankful for this season.  We used our fine motor skills with eye droppers and counted how many drops of colored water it took to fill circles of many sizes. We counted number dots and searched for the corresponding number.  Finally, in the sensory table we explored bird feed and corn feed with magnifying glasses and tweezers.  So engaging!
We had fun with our whole group literacy game today!  Each child picked a capital letter.  We all said the sound it made, said some words that begin with that letter and colored in the matching lowercase letter. So fun!
It is "Wear Your Favorite Hat Day" in PreK4!  We had lots of Cubs hats, cowboy hats and comfy cozy ones too!
Usually popcorn is popped. This week, we made it hop!  Baking soda and vinegar make CO2 bubbles that wrap around the kernals and make them float to the top!
We each filled out our own ballot and received an "I Voted" sticker.  Thanks to Mrs. Schiff for getting the official Election 2016 stickers for us this morning.  We later tallied the vote!  Cats won!
Election 2016 happened in PreK4 today! Avery and Ethan, along with their classmates voted for their favorite animal - cat, dog, monkey or rabbit.
It was letter Gg day!  What amazing items were brought into class today: horses, helicopter, hearts, hats, hippos and more!
