Grade 6:

Grade 7:

  • to produce clear and coherent writing in which the development, organization, and style are appropriate to task, purpose, and audience through editorial/bias writing through newspaper teams
Grade 8:
  • to demonstrate command of the conventions of standard English grammar and usage when writing or speaking through the study of adjective, adverb, and noun clauses
  • to produce clear and coherent writing in which the development, organization, and style are appropriate to task, purpose, and audience by  completing Paul Harvey narrative writing in partners/teams
