Grade 8:

• to demonstrate command of the conventions of standard English grammar and usage when writing or speaking through the study of adjective and adverb phrases, participles, and gerunds
• to produce clear and coherent writing in which the development, organization, and style are appropriate to task, purpose, and audience by  an introduction to public service announcement Google slide presentations/videos
