Week at a Glance: March 6 - 10

Note: Students will go outside for recess in the snow and cold. Please dress appropriately. 
 
Grade 6:
  • to write clear and coherent folktales in which the development, organization, and style are appropriate to task, purpose, and audience 
  • to demonstrate command of the conventions of standard English grammar and usage when writing or speaking with pronoun usage. Module 8 Review: Thursday, March 9; Module 8 Assessment: Friday, March 10
Grade 7:
  • to demonstrate command of the conventions of standard English grammar and usage when writing or speaking with verb usage: tenses
  • to produce clear and coherent writing incorporating types of agreement sentences through scripts and media presentations for biographies in which the development, organization, and style are appropriate to task, purpose, and audience. Video Presentations: Friday, March 10 in Koenig Center
Grade 8:
  • to demonstrate command of the conventions of standard English grammar and usage when writing or speaking with punctuation. Module 15 Review: Wednesday, March 8 or March 9; Module 15 Assessment: Thursday, March 9 or March 10
  • to produce clear and coherent writing through informative  scripts and media presentations through Paul Harvey's style of storytelling/writing in which the development, organization, and style are appropriate to task, purpose, and audience
