Week at a Glance: February 27 - March 3

Note: Students will go outside for recess in the snow and cold. Please dress appropriately. 
 
Grade 6:
  • to write clear and coherent folktales in which the development, organization, and style are appropriate to task, purpose, and audience 
  • to practice storytelling through reading their written fables to Kindergarten buddies on Friday, March 3
Grade 7:
  • to demonstrate command of the conventions of standard English grammar and usage when writing or speaking with agreement: amounts, pronoun - antecedent: Module 8 Review: Tuesday, February 28; Module 8 Assessment: Wednesday, March 1
  • to produce clear and coherent writing incorporating types of agreement sentences through scripts and media presentations for biographies in which the development, organization, and style are appropriate to task, purpose, and audience
Grade 8:
  • to demonstrate command of the conventions of standard English grammar and usage when writing or speaking with subject-verb agreement
  • to produce clear and coherent writing through informative  scripts and media presentations through Paul Harvey's style of storytelling/writing in which the development, organization, and style are appropriate to task, purpose, and audience
