- to produce clear and coherent tales in which the development, organization, and style are appropriate to task, purpose, and audience
Grade 7:
- to produce clear and coherent writing incorporating simple, compound, and complex sentences and presentations through informative/explanatory multi-paragraph essays in which the development, organization, and style are appropriate to task, purpose, and audience
Grade 8:
- to produce clear and coherent writing incorporating simple, compound, complex, compound-complex sentences through informative public service announcement (PSA) scripts and media presentations in which the development, organization, and style are appropriate to task, purpose, and audience
