Grade 7:

• to demonstrate command of the conventions of standard English grammar and usage when writing or speaking with with sentence patterns: direct objects, indirect objects, predicate nominatives, and predicate adjectives: 
• Module 4 Grammar Test Review Tuesday; Test Wednesday
• to produce clear and coherent memoir writing in which the development, organization, and style are appropriate to task, purpose, and audience 

Grade 8:

• to demonstrate command of the conventions of standard English grammar and usage when writing or speaking with with sentence patterns: direct objects, indirect objects, predicate nominatives, and predicate adjectives
• to produce clear and coherent speech writing in which the development, organization, and style are appropriate to task, purpose, and audience
