• to demonstrate command of the conventions of standard English grammar and usage when writing or speaking through sentence review work (types of sentences, run-on sentences, subject and predicate of a sentence, coordinating conjunctions)
• to produce clear and coherent writing in which the development, organization, and style are appropriate to task, purpose, and audience through email, social letter, and argumentative writing
