Hello Confirmation Families!

Here is a list of dates for the Confirmation Program here at St Joseph Church. We are a combined program with Children's Faith Formation (Religious Education) so we have to share some due dates with the parish. I will continue to update this calendar as the year progresses. The majority of the Confirmation material will be addressed in class. However, some of the forms and paperwork will have to be filled out by individual families. Please reach out with any questions or concerns.

7th Grade Confirmation Program Dates 2023-24

• November 5, 5pm - Confirmation Candidacy Mass.
• November 19, 2-5pm - Service Project for all 7th & 8th Grade students in the Koenig Center with 5pm Mass to follow.

• January 20, 5pm - All 7th & 8th Grade Classes attend 5pm Teaching Mass.
• January 28, 2-5pm - Service Project for All 7th & 8th Grade students in the Koenig Center with 5pm Mass to follow (optional).
• February 29 - At least 4 Service Projects and Reflections (must add up to at least 10 hours).
• February 29 - In class Saint work.

8th Grade Confirmation Program Dates 2023-2024

• August 29, 6pm - 8th Grade Confirmation Parent Meeting in the Koenig Center.
• October 12 - Saint Poster due.
• October 22, 5pm - Saints Showcase Mass.
• November 19, 2-5pm - Service Project (optional) for all 7th & 8th Grade students in the Koenig Center with 5pm Mass to follow.
• December 3 to Parish Office (Nov 30th to School) - All Sponsor and Confirmation name forms due.
• December 10 to Parish Office (Dec 7th in class) - Bishop Letter due.

• January 18 - Mandatory Confirmation Retreat.
• January 20, 5pm - All 7th & 8th Grade Classes attend 5pm Teaching Mass.
• January 28, 2-5pm - Service Project (optional) for all 7th & 8th grade students in the Koenig Center with Mass to follow.
• January 31 - At least 4 Service projects and Reflections (must add up to at least 10 hours).
• February 11 - Confirmation Worksheet about Parents & Sponsor due.
• February 25, 5pm - Confirmation Sending Mass.
• February 29 - Confirmation Practice during school.
• March 2nd 10am & 2pm - Confirmation, arrive 20 mins early.
• Completion of all work to a satisfactory level is needed to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation
