HOMEWORK:
Math- Subtract and Compare worksheet, reviewing 3 digit subtraction with re-grouping, 10minutes of basic facts (+, -).
Reading and Writing: There is a Scholastic News coming home for them to read, and a Jesse Owens close read. This close read has questions they can practice writing answers in complete sentences using part of the question in their answer. We did the other side in class today in our small reading groups.
Reminders:
- Our field trip is next Wednesday to Marriott Lincolnshire to see James and the Giant Peach. We have been listening to the story in class (Mrs. D is reading)-ask your kiddo to tell you all about it.
- Next week Thursday, we will have Stations of the Cross as a school. Please remind your child that this is a time to practice one of our three Rs-REVERENCE!
- Spring Break = 3/25/24 - 4/1/24 (Classes resume 4/2/24) → Please alert me and Mrs. Lentino if your child is missing any days around spring break.

- Fr. Trout informed the parish on Monday evening that he has been reassigned to St. Anne's Parish in Barrington, effective July 1, 2024. We are so grateful for his 13 years of service to our parish and school, and we will miss him. There is no news yet on the new pastor for our parish.
