Fundations (phonics): this week students will
- Spell homop
- hones with long e syllables
- Decode and encode words with ea, ee, ey
- Spell and read multisyllabic words with double vowel syllables (long e)
- Read and spell trick words ready, head, breakfast
Wit and Wisdom (reading and writing): use story stones (setting, characters, beginning, middle, ending) to retell key events from Johnny Appleseed. We will continue to examine irregular past tense verbs (sit-sat, feel-felt, think-thought)
Math: students will be able to-
