Happy February!! Cannot believe how fast time flies!

Math- please practice+ and - basic facts with flashcards, a deck of cards (K-13, Q-12, J-11), 2 dice, or dominoes work lovely too! 10-15 minutes.

Reading and Writing- Read independently or partner read for 10-15 minutes. Consider writing words from our Fundations packets-past, current, trick words etc. (Example: unicorn, afar, absurd, practice, different, picture, friend) Rainbow writing or creating words with magnetic, foam or plastic letters, then writing them out. Change the first letter; change the last letter. Add a suffix.

• We had a Lake County Judge read to us in the Koenig Center this afternoon, please ask your child about this. He did a great job and told us a lot about his past and current roles as an attorney and a judge.
