**We tried multiple strategies today when adding 2-digit numbers. Please be aware that we have not yet taught the standard algorithm (lining up place values and regrouping), but that is what we're learning on Wednesday. We are trying to really understand the numbers and their value. The students should show their work by drawing a picture or writing how they solved.

• Reading Progress Assessment is Wednesday, 10/20 (no studying needed)

• Your child has a list of resources in their folder. It includes tips and resources for how to help support your child at home
