Sixth Grade Reading:

• Students will continue novel study of Lions of Little Rock  including comprehension, prediction, vocabulary, and close reading.
• Students will complete Latin & Greek unit 12.
• Students will complete one i-Ready Reading lesson.
• Students will read independent novel.

Seventh Grade Reading:

• Students will continue novel study of Fever 1793 including summarizing, compare/contrast, plot developments, and main idea and details.
• Students will complete Latin & Greek unit 12.
• Students will complete one i-Ready Reading lesson.
• Students will read independent novel.

Eighth Grade Reading:

• Students will continue creating poems including selfie, character, and choice.
• Students will identify text evidence in nonfiction texts in Scope magazine.
• Students will complete Latin & Greek unit 12.
• Students will complete one i-Ready Reading lesson.
