Week at a Glance: October 9-13, 2023

Sixth Grade Reading:

• Students will present information from Holes lit centers including desert habitat and reptile/amphibean video.
• Students will begin novel study of Holes including characters, setting, word choice, and figurative language.
• Students will complete Latin & Greek unit 4.
• Students will complete one i-Ready Reading lesson.
• Students will read independent novel.

Seventh Grade Reading:

• Students will continue novel study of Touching Spirit Bear including characters, figurative language, plot, dynamic v static characters.
• Students will check comprehension of Latin 7 Greek unit 4.
• Students will complete one i-Ready Reading lesson.
• Students will read independent novel.

Eighth Grade Reading:

• Students will continue annotations of Prisoner B-3087 including settings, literary devices, and character development.
• Students will visit the Illinois Holocaust Museum.
• Students will complete Latin & Greek unit 5.
• Students will complete one i-Ready Reading lesson.
• Students will read independent novel.
