Week at a Glance: October 2-6, 2023

Sixth Grade Reading:

• Students will begin work on Holes lit centers including author study, desert research, settings, and Jim Crow Laws.
• Students will present information from lit centers
• Students will complete Latin & Greek unit 3. 
• Students will conference on i-Ready Reading results and goals.
• Students will read independent novels.

Seventh Grade Reading:

• Students will begin novel study of Touching Spririt Bear including characterization, connections, sensory details, protagonist/antagonist.
• Students will complete Latin & Greek unit 4.
• Students will conference on i-Ready Reading results and goals.
• Students will visit the school library.
• Students will read independent novels.

Eighth Grade Reading:

• Students will continue annotation of Prisoner B-3087 including literary devices, foreshadowing, and comprehension.
• Students will complete Latin & Greek unit 4.
• Students will conference on i-Ready Reading results and goals.
• Students will read independent novels.
