  • Students will make calavera’s in class.

6th- 8th Grade:

This week the students will practice reading and how to conjugate sentences. They will be given a Dia de Los Muertos reading comprehension packet to complete.  We will read it in class and translate it together. Students will then be given time to answer questions related to the packet of the traditions celebrated on November 1st and 2nd for Dia de Los Muertos.

  • Will work on Reading comprehension packet
At the end of the packet students will have time to create a Maravilla (Marigold) which is the traditional flower that Mexico uses to decorate and prepare for Dia de Los Muertos. The Maravilla’s fragrance is said to lead our ancestors' spirits back to their families to celebrate El Día de Los Muertos.
