Mrs. Anne Sondalle » Welcome to Fourth Grade

Welcome to Fourth Grade

Welcome to 4th grade!  I'm Mrs.Sondalle and I'm happy to be starting off the school year with all of you! As a graduate of St. Joseph School, I am thrilled to be wearing the Knight's logo once again! I am proud to say that I am a product of Catholic Education from Kindergarten through present day. I attended Carmel High School, University of Dayton (Go Flyers), received my masters through the Augustine Institute and have taught thirteen years in the Archdiocese of Chicago schools. I've lived in Libertyville all my life along with my siblings and many cousins. Many thanks to my grandma Irene and grandpa Eugene who moved to sweet Libs to start their family back in 1937. My mother Diane is also a St. Joseph graduate.

My husband Craig and I have two amazing sons - Graham, a junior at LHS and Patrick, a third grader here at SJS. Our boys keep us busy with sporting events, trips to Wisconsin to cheer on Brewers, Bucks, Badgers and the Pack. Don't yell at me - I married a sconnie! I still root for the Cubs and Bears though ;) This fall we will be cheering for the Wildcats at all the Varsity football games! Excited to see our son wearing jersey #1! Go Cats!

I'm happy to be back in the classroom after taking time off to raise my boys. I am committed to creating a positive and engaging classroom environment where each child feels loved, supported and encouraged to succeed both academically, socially and spiritually. I'm looking forward to a wonderful start to the 26-27 school year! God bless!
