Welcome to St. Joseph Catholic School!

 

At St. Joseph Catholic School, our mission is to educate the whole child—body, mind, and spirit. We are committed to nurturing students in their faith while providing a strong academic foundation that prepares them to become compassionate, confident, and successful individuals. Serving students from preschool through eighth grade, we offer a supportive learning environment where every child is encouraged to grow academically, spiritually, socially, and emotionally. Through enriching opportunities both inside and outside the classroom, our students are inspired to discover their God-given talents and reach their full potential.

 

It is a privilege to serve as principal of St. Joseph Catholic School. I am excited to begin my 15th year at SJCS and my fifth year as principal. Before joining the St. Joseph faculty, I taught kindergarten for four years at another Archdiocesan school.

 

St. Joseph Catholic School holds a special place in my heart. As a proud graduate of SJCS and Carmel Catholic High School, I have personally experienced the lifelong value of a Catholic education. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Southern Illinois University and my Master of Education in School Leadership from Concordia University Chicago. These experiences, combined with my years in Catholic education, have strengthened my commitment to helping students grow in faith, knowledge, and character.

 

For more than 100 years, St. Joseph Catholic School has partnered with families to provide an exceptional Catholic education rooted in academic excellence and Gospel values. Every day, I witness the positive impact our dedicated teachers, supportive families, and faith-filled community have on our students.
