Enrollment & Tuition
Enrollment Details
Current SJS Families: In the fall, we begin our re-enrollment process with our current school families. At this time any siblings of current families are able to enroll. All forms need to be returned to the school office and the non-fundable registration fee must be paid within one week to reserve a spot for the following school year.
Prospective Families: SJCS has an on-going registration process, and families may apply for admission at any point during the school year by filling out the Application for Admission and submitting the designated fees, birth certificate, and sacramental records. For those joining us for grades 1-8, a records request form will need to be completed as well.
Please complete our inquiry form if you would like to receive more information about our school.
Admissions Policy
St. Joseph School offers the benefits of a strong academic and faith formation program. Because of space limitations, St. Joseph School is not always able to accommodate all those who seek admittance. Priority of admission is given to current school families, followed by registered St. Joseph Parishioners and then opened up to to the general public.
Preschool admittance is dependent on the child having reached a third birthday for the three-year old class or a fourth birthday for the four-year old class by September 1st of the school year and be fully potty trained.
Kindergarten admittance is dependent on the child having reached a fifth birthday by September 1st of that school year.
Classes for the following year will be filled according to these priorities, listed in descending order:
- All currently enrolled students.
- Siblings of children currently enrolled who are registered Parishioners.
- Children of families of St. Joseph Parish, prioritized by length of time registered in the parish.
- Children of non-parishioners.
The list of applicants does not roll over from school year to school year. It is the responsibility of the parents to re-apply their children.
