Week at a Glance: March 31st- April 2nd, 2026
Sixth Grade Science: This week, Sixth Grade Students will begin their unit on weather. In this unit, we will learn about the atmosphere, what affects weather patterns, clouds, and what causes tornadoes.
We will begin our unit by learning about Earth’s Atmosphere and Air Pressure. In this lesson, students will be able to identify the four main layers and describe their characteristics. They will also be able to to identify some properties of air.

Seventh Grade Science: This week, Seventh grade students will finish their unit on the Nervous System. We will focus on the brain, spinal cord and discuss different injuries that can happen to the brain. We will have our quiz on the Nervous System on Thursday.

Eighth Grade Science: This week, eighth grade students will finish their unit on Electricity. We will learn about Transformers and Magnetism. Students will learn how electricity can be converted into electrical energy.
