Week at a Glance: September 25 - 29, 2023

Sixth Grade Reading:
  • Students will check comprehension of plot elements.
  • Students will identify vocabulary in context.
  • Students will complete Latin & Greek unit 3.
  • Students will read independent novel.
  • Students will successfully complete one i-Ready Reading lesson.
Seventh Grade Reading:
  • Students will continue work on Touching Spirit Bear lit centers including author study, kermode bears, totem poles, restorative justice, Tlingit Indians, and Alaska.
  • Students will begin novel study of Touching Spirit Bear including characters and setting.
  • Students will complete Latin & Greek unit 3.
  • Students will read independent novel.
  • Students will successfully complete one i-Ready Reading lesson.
Eighth Grade Reading:
  • Students will use primary sources to investigate the Nuremberg Laws.
